I'm just like you when it comes to vintage sheets - I always look for the cotton ones and usually can tell by the feel of the fabric if it has polyester in it. I try to avoid the ones with poly - I don't like the way it feels (or the way it smells when you iron... yuck! ;o) How funny to recognize a couple of those sheets - guess it doesn't matter where in Canada you live because I have some of these very ones in my stash! lol<br /><br />Don't you love finding deals?! Like you, I will buy a purse from a thrift shop for the hardware - way cheaper than retail for cool notions. I've actually been know to buy garments at thrift shops, just for their unique buttons or zippers.
