Blingy broach Friday OOTD

You know how sometimes you spend all week thinking about Friday?  It makes me think of that Loverboy song, "Working for the weekend".

Ah, the heady days of the eighties.  Red leather, headbands and all.

Most offices have a policy where you can wear jeans on Fridays.  I'm instituting a new policy where you have to wear bling, who's with me?

Blingy broach baby!!

Here is an overview of my thrifty outfit:
blue alpaca hoody (thrifted, about $5)
white sequined tunic (thrifted, about $5)
Apt 9 jeans with gold pattern (sale, about $30)
Blingy cameo broach, gifted

Close-up of jeans

Sadly the close-up I took of the broach was corrupted, and I couldn't be arsed to take another. So you'll have to use your imagination.  Meanwhile, here is a closeup of a STUNNING lucite and gem encrusted bangle from J. Crew.

Lucite J. Crew goodness
This bangle was a Christmas gift from my FAB boyfriend. Hmmm, I guess I should be doing a better job posting pics in a timely fashion.

                                                   "Working For The Weekend"

Everyone's watching to see what you will do
Everyone's looking at you, oh
Everyone's wondering will you come out tonight
Everyone's trying to get it right, get it right

Everybody's working for the weekend
Everybody wants a new romance
Everybody's going off the deep end
Everybody needs a second chance, oh

You want a piece of my heart?
You better start from the start
You want to be in the show?
C'mon baby, let's go

Everybody needs a second chance, oh

You want a piece of my heart?
You better start from the start
You want to be in the show?
C'mon baby, let's go
